"Brew Steps" error
« on: August 13, 2013, 08:59:07 AM »
When I click on the Brew Steps icon I get the following error message:

Line:      1791
Char:     1
Error:     Invalid argument
Code:    0
URL:       res://ieframe.dll/preview.js

I recently upgraded my Beersmith software, that is when I started getting this error message.
Thanks for your help

Hi,
Try upgrading your Internet explorer (which BeerSmith uses as a plugin).  I know some people had trouble with one of the Microsoft updates a few months back.

Thanks Brad but no go.  Any other ideas?

Just for anyone else who gets this error.  I updated my printer driver and this resolved the issue.

not sure if I have a similar issue.

When I hit BrewSteps, I get a popup window but never get anything other than a blank page. I have 2 printers, one ink jet and 1 laser. It is not obvious how to redirect to one or the other if it is a driver issue.

any guidance?

thanks,
Ed
