Thanks for the new release of Beersmith (1.4); I like the new features, especially the calendar and batch price calculation (I especially like that it's "retroactive" - I can see the cost of things I've already brewed. I know it's entirely too soon to send you suggestions for the next update, but what the heck.
The inventory page does not allow customizable columns - it would be nice to also be able to view srm/ibu, date purchased, and supplier on the inventory page. The grains and hops pages already allow this. Might also be nice to include a "use soon" checkbox for those of us who accumulate lots of ingredients and need to do a "kitchen sink" batch once in a while so that ageing ingredients aren't wasted.
It would be nice to allow for different sorts on different pages: alphabetical sort in "master recipes" and chronological in "brew log", for example. Right now, whatever sort you select for one of the pages is carried over to the other page.
When a recipe is sent from "master recipes" to "brew log" via the toolbar button, the recipe date should be updated to the current date. Right now, the "master recipe" date is carried over, which can be confusing when an old recipe is used multiple times.
Just some minor tweaks - keep up the great work.
