Greetings,
I'm brand new to the forum, and to brewing; I have my first batch ever, from a one gallon Brooklyn Brewshop kit that was a Christmas gift, bottled; I'll chill it on the 27th and try it on the 28th.
That said, I'm fascinated with the complexity and richness of this topic. I've ordered a Robobrew with pump, and am shopping for a 7 gallon fermenter. I'm trying to put a shopping list together for basic tools and supplies, and will decide on a first recipe soon.
I'm fortunate to have the largest retail homebrew supplier in New England close by, and a nice, tiny, brewery in my town; got a tour and an earful, all the young guys who work there are home brewers.
