New field in equipment

I could use a new field in equipment, along with lauter tun dead space.

The number should add to the mash ingredients amount of water, and subtract from the amount of water to sparge with.

It would really bee helpful in the setup I and many others in Denmark use.

Hi,
  I'm not clear exactly what this would do??  The equipment profile is recipe independent, so it would seem that the number you want calculated is something to go in the recipe and not equipment profile?

  Can you describe it in a bit more detail and what it would be used for?

I am using a setup similar to a kettle with a false bottom, it is the amount of water there is below the false bottom I am referring to.

It is not dead space because it goes in the fermenter at the end, and it is the same amount every time in this setup.
