Can't update iPhone

I can't update my beersmith app on my iPhone4. I get "there is a billing problem with a previous purchase" error! If I hit continue and enter my iTunes password I get something about Paypal not accepted as a payment method type! What does Paypal have to do with updating my app???

That is very odd - my app has no references to paypal in it so I really don't know how it would be referring you to paypal.  iTunes controls the licensing so I don't really have much to do with the actual billing or licensing.

If you want to drop me a private note I can check my logs for your purchase and see if there is anything I can do on my end.
